Configure using Thin-Client GUI

In cases where you have a small number of thin-clients, for example when you are doing a demo or Proof-Of-Concept (POC), it may be easier to configure the thin clients by using the GUI tools on the thin-clients themselves rather than using FTP or WDM. Follow the steps in this section to configure the thin-clients using the GUI tools.

Step 1: Import the Client Certificate
  • Copy the client certificate .pfx file to a USB thumb drive

  • Plug the thumb drive into the thin client

  • On a thin-client, set the thin-client to admin mode

  • Left-click the thin-client desktop and then click System Tools

  • Click the Certificates tab

  • Select Import From USB Storage and then click the Import button

  • Select the client certificate .pfx file and click OK

  • Enter the .pfx password and click OK

  • Click OK to close the System Tools dialog

Step 2: Configure Server Connection
  • Left-click the desktop and then click Remote Connections

  • Click the Authentication tab

  • Click the HealthCast radio button
