ExactAccess ("XA") is a comprehensive enterprise single sign-on solution that enhances clinical workflow and strengthens security. It can be deployed with or without its proximity badge technology to automates fast and secure access to patient information in a local or remote desktop session.
The XA Client software supports several different configurable workflows designed to meet differing health care environments and needs. Your organization will have purchased either: (1) XA "Passthrough" Authentication only, which provides direct access to a remote desktop session; or (2) XA enterprise single sign-on ("SSO"), which allows several different configurations including the option for Passthrough Authentication only. XA Server is the server-side component of the ExactAccess ("XA") solution. It is deployed in the environment along with the XA Client installation software to provide information and communication between workstations and servers. This feature is necessary for the successful implementation of the XA Solution. To configure servers for your environment, please choose the appropriate section below.
