Tap-Out (Securing the User Session)
Once tapped in, the user can secure the session. This saves and secures the user's session and allows it to be accessed later, without logging the user out.
Follow these two steps to secure the user session.
After tapping in, tap the prox card again.
This tap will also refresh and extend the 'password-save time' so that the user will not need to re-enter their password so long as the password-save time has not expired.
After securing the session, a lock screen will be displayed with the username below.
The user may then access the secured session on the same, or any other QwickACCESS enabled computer by tapping the prox card, picking up where he or she left off when last securing the session. If the user doesn't return to the endpoint before the lock timer expires, the session will be disconnected from the endpoint.
Note
Citrix can be configured to automatically disconnect and log off sessions that have been inactive for a period of time. Please consult your Citrix documentation for further information.
If the user is disconnected, the computer will return to the "TAP YOUR BADGE" screen.
