QwickACCESS for IGEL (QAX-IGEL) provides users with fast and secure access to their work with the tap of a proximity card (badge) on an IGEL endpoint device. This is commonly the same card that is used for building access or identification purposes. QAX-IGEL is designed to eliminate the redundancy of manually inputting login information to gain access to the Citrix environment multiple times in one day.

QAX-IGEL supports two different user modes: Unique Session Mode and Shared Session Mode.

When QAX-IGEL is configured for the Unique Session Mode, the solution offers the ability for users to quickly and efficiently access their own unique Citrix session by simply tapping their proximity badge. To secure their work, the user taps their badge again. Users can also move between endpoints and have their Citrix session follow them (roam with them).

When QAX-IGEL is configured for the Shared Session Mode, users share a single Citrix session. Users can tap-in and out of Epic, which runs in that single Citrix session.

In either mode, a user can tap-over another user, making it easy for multiple users to securely use the same endpoint.
