QAX-IGEL Files
The QwickACCESS for IGEL (QAX-IGEL) solution deployment package is included in a zip file named "qax-1.1.0-igel.zip". This zip file includes the essential files needed for proper deployment.
This section serves as a brief overview of the files included in the deployment package.
To begin installation of QAX-IGEL, locate and right-click the zip file and select Extract ALL....
There are three files located in the unzipped folder that will be needed to continue with the installation process.
The qax.inf File
This file is the description of the custom partition that will be created on the IGEL device upon deployment.
The information contained in this file does not require editing.
The qax-1.1.0-igel.tar.bz2 File
This file contains the custom partition. The files contained in the custom partition will be downloaded to each IGEL device to which it is applied.

The qax-profile.xml File
The qax-profile.xml file is a profile that must be imported into the IGEL Universal Management Server (UMS).
This file contains settings that need to be configured in the IGEL UMS Console (see Importing the qax-profile.xml File).
