Pre-Installation

  1. Make sure you have a supported proximity badge reader attached.

  2. If you don’t already have .NET 4 Client and SQL Server Compact Edition Runtime, you must install .NET 4 first, then SQL Server Compact Edition Runtime, in that order, and only on the PC that will host the QAS Server-lite software.

  3. Configure your firewall to allow "Server-lite" / Client communication.

  4. Make sure the person installing the software has installation (i.e. part of the Administrator group) privileges.

  5. Install QwickACCESS Server.

  6. Install QwickACCESS Manager.
