Tap-Over
QwickACCESS' Tap-Over functionality allows users to share endpoints by performing a Tap-In over another user's active session.
In the event a user approaches a machine with QwickACCESS and is greeted with the "Session Secured" screen, the user can still tap the proximity badge to access Citrix.
QAX-IGEL offers two different modes for this feature, the Unique Session Mode and the Shared Session Mode.
Unique Session Mode
The Unique Session Mode allows the user to access their own unique Citrix session, without affecting the initial user's session. When the user performs a Tap-Over in this mode, the previous user's session will be saved and secured for access at a later time.
Shared Session Mode
The Shared Session Mode will allow users to share a single Citrix session with the Tap-Over feature. This mode offers a variety of workflows that can be configured to direct the actions that QAX and Epic will take when another user taps their badge. It is recommended to set up unique profiles for each endpoint so that QAX-IGEL will use these values to automatically launch the Citrix session that will be shared. See Additional Settings in the Environment Variables tab for the corresponding settings.
